Welcome to the August 11 – 17, 2019 edition of the Office 365 Weekly Digest. Twenty four features were added to the Office 365 Roadmap last week, with half of those for two updates to Excel on each of the various platforms (online, desktop, Android, iOS, Mac, etc.). There are also updates for Teams, Planner, Forms, OneDrive, SharePoint, and MyAnalytics. There are (again) lots of additions to existing event series, along with a couple of new OneDrive-related events on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. It’s tough to choose just one spotlight event this week, so it’s a tie between the “Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA) on Skype for Business Online to Teams Upgrade” and the “Back to School with Microsoft Teams!” sessions, all on Thursday, August 22, 2019 starting at 8am Pacific. Office 365 Weekly Digest | August 4 – 10, 2019

Welcome to the August 4 – 10, 2019 edition of the Office 365 Weekly Digest. There were twelve additions to the Office 365 Public Roadmap last week. Most are for Outlook on Android, with a few others for Teams and Yammer. There is one Teams feature to highlight for review and potential action, Feedback Surveys. There are lots of new sessions for existing events/series, and one new event which is a Skype for Business to Teams upgrade Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA) session on Thursday, August 22nd at 9:00am Pacific. Welcome to the July 28 – August 3, 2019 edition of the Office 365 Weekly Digest. Fifteen features were added to the Office 365 Roadmap last week, with most of them Teams-related. There are also lots of brand new events added, including a “Back to School with Microsoft Teams” series on Thursday, August 22nd. The spotlight event for this week is the “Microsoft Teams: Plan your upgrade” workshops on Tuesday, August 6th and Thursday, August 8th. The major news from last week was the announcement of the retirement of Skype for Business Online on July 31, 2021. Welcome to the July 7 – 13 2019 edition of the Office 365 Weekly Digest. There were nineteen features added to the Office 365 Roadmap last week, with most related to SharePoint and Stream. Each of the Outlook versions (Android, iOS and Web) and Microsoft Forms have a single feature added this week. New events for this week’s post include security-focused customer immersion experience sessions. This week’s spotlight event is the Microsoft Education AMA (Ask Microsoft Anything) on Tuesday, July 16th at 9am Pacific. Highlights from last week’s blogs include a big numbers announcement for Microsoft Teams, a new feature that empowers security teams to report suspicious emails to Microsoft and receive instant feedback, and a preview for updates to Shared Calendars in Outlook for Windows. Welcome to the June 30 – July 6, 2019 edition of the Office 365 Weekly Digest. Six features were added to the Office 365 Roadmap last week with a split between Outlook (mobile) and Teams. One update of note is the upcoming shift to the new Outlook on the web experience as the default. There are two new events, both Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA) sessions – one for Yammer on July 10th and one for Education on July 16th. The spotlight event for this week is the “Driving Adoption with Microsoft 365 Integrated Services” webinars on July 8th and 9th.
